Carruthers Creek Boardwalk - Ajax
A helical pile foundation system was designed, supplied and installed by Ground Force Foundations to support a new curved steel boardwalk which wrapped underneath an existing rail bridge. These helical piles were designed to resist compression and tension loads to support this unique structure. Challenges included tight access around the existing bridge abutment for equipment and material.
